FAQS

Who is IGO Books and what do we do?

The best way to describe IGO Books is to say we are an online bookstore, but not your average bookstore. We cater for niche markets and offer books for sale that are genre specific. IGO is a subsidiary of Pinetown Printers, one of South Africa’s leading book and Diary printers. We sell the books of small publishers, offering a platform for these publishers to increase their profit margin in a book friendly environment.

Can I place my order by telephone?

We can only process orders placed through the website. This policy ensures that we can accept your orders quickly and that your details are kept secure throughout the ordering process.

I have received my order and wish to return an item - how do I go about this?

Please return the title to us at the following address:

Returns Department
IGO Books c/o Pinetown Printers
16 Ivy Road
Pinetown
Kwazulu Natal
3600
To help us process your return more efficiently, please enclose the packing slip that accompanied the book as this contains all the information we need to process your return. Please include a brief note on the packing requesting a refund and the reason for your return. We are unable to reimburse customers for expenses incurred returning titles to us unless the product is defective or not as advertised. If either of these apply, please contact us prior to returning the goods to us. Returned items must be in its original packing.

For more information regarding returns, please see our Terms and Conditions.

Can you provide tracking numbers for packages?

The majority of orders will be trackable once they have been despatched to customers. We will e-mail you a Tracking Number once we have despatched your item. If for any reason, we cannot supply a tracking number, we will inform you via e-mail.

Are items dispatched together, or in separate packages?

We will try and dispatch your items together, depending on how you place your order and if the item/s are in stock. Should you place multiple orders, we will still try to dispatch them together, but sometimes you may find that they arrive in separate packages.

Can you offer a specific day for when delivery will be made?

No, the majority of our deliveries are handled by domestic postal and courier services. We therefore rely on these services to get your books to you.

What payment types do you accept?

Payment can be made online with a Credit/Debit card or EFT. All orders will only be processed once payment is received. VISA and Mastercard accepted. All credit card payments are administered by Paygate.

Once you have entered your details online through our secure server, you have the option to store the card for use in the future, subsequent orders can be placed simply by logging into your account using your email address and password and selecting a credit card option from the list of those previously used – you would still have to enter the card’s CVV number at this point.

We cannot accept orders paid for by cheque, postal order or proforma invoices.
