LET’S LOOK AT 3 SCENARIOS

1

I’m an author with a manuscript. I’d like to try and sell it, but I don’t want to commit to huge upfront costs A virtual warehouse with zero physical stockholding. A book is printed (quickly) only when it’s been ordered and paid for.

We’ve got you covered.

We’ll take care of everything from listing your book, collecting payment on the sale, seeing that the customer receives their purchase and payment of profits across to you at the end of every month.

All we will need from you is print ready cover and text artwork. You retain all ownership of\ your intellectual property and copyright. You will receive a link to your book’s page and be able to market and drive traffic to a platform which is 100% ready to convert interest to sales.

2

I’m the agent for a niche author. I’m looking for a sales and fulfillment channel to manage the sales process, admin and delivery for me.

Niche is something we specialise in.

List your author’s works. Share his books’ igo pages with his interest group and readers. They’ll be able to visit the page and make purchases. We’ll take care of everything on the sales process and fulfillment side, including a monthly summary to you showing number of sales and payment of any profits.

3

I’m a publisher with a stable of authors looking for additional sales channels with good margins.

We’re first and foremost an online bookstore. We charge nothing until a sale is made.

We may also be able to assist in other ways.. We differ from most bookstores in one very significant way. We’re also a very established printer and bookmaker.

We can service you simply as an additional zero risk sales channel and help to limit the costs of stockholding and storage.

No sale. No fee.

WHAT’S INVOLVED IN LISTING?

THERE ARE 2 STEPS

1

Complete the documentation:

• where to pay the profits from sales,
• confirmation of ownership of the copyright
and intellectual property rights in the work,
• permission to sell the work and
• acceptance of our pricing structure
DOCUMENTATION

2

We will need something to display:

• cover artwork (high res PDF, TIFF or PNG
file)
• A brief, interesting description of the book
(250 words or less)
• a sample extract. A customer who has read
a few pages is more likely to click “add to
basket”.
• a well lit, decent quality portrait of the
author. It doesn’t need to be the cover of
Vogue but it must look professional.
• an introduction to the author
• dimensions of and number of pages in your
printed book.

While we do want to present any literary or visual
work of merit, we reserve the right not to list a book

PROMOTING YOUR TITLES

Each book has it’s own dedicated page, with
space for an author profile, a sample and a
listing of other titles by the same author.
It’s like a mini-website for the book.
Make use of it to promote the work through
social media and networking channels

Generally speaking, we don’t actively
promote authors or titles (beyond staff
favourites and featured titles), but the book’s
web page is a useful online presence for any
title. Drive traffic to it.

A SALE HAS BEEN MADE.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER CHECKOUT?

Once a customer hits checkout we run with it.

Printing to delivery is usually
completed within 5 working days
