Overview
A passionate love, a life threatening disease, an overwhelming grief, and many of life's major decisions have to be made in and through this time.

A passionate love, a life threatening disease, an overwhelming grief, and many of life’s major decisions have to be made in and through this time.

A second marriage, that occurred during the grief of the first. A joyful birth, family ties and the comfort and strength of friends, family and God. There are a new and very different set of challenges to be managed.

Life goes on, and again it is often not what we had thought it would be.

But God…

He carries us through, and gives us strength and purpose. If we put Him first, our lives take amazing, impossible turns, which give us glimpses of Eternity and the love of God who cared enough to die for us and rise again, so that we may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10 NKJV).

God is much bigger than any challenge that life presents us with… and He loves us!

She has one daughter, and continues to live in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is a Bonsai grower, and she has a collection of mostly self-styled trees. Helen enjoys the outdoors, she plays guitar in her church music group, and sometimes paints in her spare time.
